Creative Portrait Work

Sometimes the best portraits are captured in the way you least expect. Anthony is a relaxed, fun and easygoing photographer who will work closely with you to create the image of your dreams. When you book a portrait with Anthony, it will include a 1/2 hour consultation to understand what you are after before the day.

What to do before your session

I love to get to know everyone before their shoot! Pre-planning sessions are welcome to you at no charge. It’s a fantastic way to meet in -person, show you samples, discuss ideas, chat pricing, let you ask questions, and get everything rolling! We can also chat over the phone or Skype. 

Choosing a location! It is the very first thing you should think about. Other than you, the background is the other dominant features in a photo, so choosing the perfect location is important. For this reason, I’ve spent plenty of time with my clients to help them choose the perfect locations.

Lighting! Keep sunrise and sunset times in mind if you want that natural golden glow in your portraits which you can only achieve around sunset or sunrise! 6am-10am or 4:30-7:30 (Depending on daylight savings) I recommend these times because they are the prime time to do portraits outdoors! For portraits outside of those hours i recommend indoors or shaded areas! as use natural lighting more and don’t use flashes or lighting equipment.

Wardrobe! A shoot is the perfect excuse to spoil yourself with some new shoes, outfits and jewellery for your portrait session.

Session fee covers everything listed above and acts as a non-refundable retainer to hold your date in the studio.
